I’m so happy you’re here. Over the next 8 weeks, you will learn English step by step. This class is for beginners, so don’t worry if you are just starting. You will practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing every week.
You’ll meet new classmates, try new things, and grow your English skills with confidence. Mistakes are okay — they help you learn!

Course Duration & Time
8-Week Course 
Target Course Duration: 55 hours
Instructor-led Online Hours: 16 hours
Independent Guided Study: 39 hours
→ ~approximately 5 hours/week of homework, online practice, and assignments
Completing ESLAO-1 and ESLAO-2 will ensure that you achieve a minimum of 110 hours that is needed to fulfill the Ontario ESL Curriculum requirements for the ESLAO level.
