Conestoga - SOC1200 - Conflict Resolution

About this Development

In collaboration with course faculty and a graphic designer from the Online Learning Centre, instructional design enhancements were implemented to strengthen visual communication and learner engagement. Purposeful use of colour theory—specifically red and blue tonal palettes—was applied to visually represent the emotional intensity of conflict and the de-escalation associated with resolution. Custom-designed banners and visual assets were developed to support Media Analysis of Conflict activities and to contextualize conflict across multiple settings, including the home, workplace, and community. These visual elements were strategically aligned with course content to reinforce key concepts and support cognitive processing.
